Body of Evidence

At Global Village Academy, we analyze student data, parent(s) and teacher feedback, and student overall performance to begin the screening process for Gifted Education services. Data is collected through multiple measures and data determines how a student is selected for identification and academic needs. Data measures include: Standardized COGAT (Cognitive Abilities Test), Colorado state exam (T-CAP), NWEA (Maps) scores, DIBELs composite, cognitive abilities test scores provided by parents, and data provided from previous Advanced Learning Plans (ALP). Global Village Academy follows the requirements set by the state of Colorado for baseline qualification data.
