Hello! I am Sammy Mestnik. I am so excited to be part of the GVA team. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor's in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education.
I was born and raised in Colorado, and I enjoy all of what this great state has to offer. In my free time, I love to ski, hike, and go climbing. I have a tiny little dog that I love to snuggle when I stay inside. While in college, I traveled around Central and South America and fell in love with the culture, language, and travel. I can't believe how lucky I am to work in such an incredible and diverse school and fulfill my life long dream of being a teacher.
