My name is Martha Williams and I am originally from Colombia. I got a Bachelor Degree in Arts with a major in Social Communication and Journalism in my country. I worked in a Radio Station for a little bit of time in Bogota where I am from, then I moved to the United States almost 20 years ago. I got married here and I have a daughter who is in college. I like to read, roller skate, camp, hike and spend time with my family.
I am very excited to work at Global Village Academy Northglenn as a Spanish teacher. I have been in education for 6 years, this will be my seventh year.
Speaking a foreign language not only broadens the students' professional options in their future, but also brings cultures closer to them. I hope I can teach the students skills and knowledge to use the language efficiently as well as share my passion for Spanish and multiculturalism.
